- I am very excited to begin my eighth year teaching 1st Grade with the Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah School District. I thoroughly enjoy teaching children at this age as their academic achievements bring a smile to my face each day. In addition, I am honored to work with such dedicated parents, teachers, and a community that truly supports education. I am still a student at heart as I look for continuous ways to improve the classroom setting whether that be in new teaching approaches or my passion in technology. I graduated with my Master's Degree in Educational Technology in December 2011. I always strive to create a classroom that has the latest apps, websites, and online engaging activities to promote learning. When I'm not at school I enjoy traveling, reading, gardening, decorating my house, shopping, and spending quality time with my family and friends.
